We are especially proud of this. With us, people from eleven nations work in more than 80 professions. KG have <b>long-standing experience and competence in the area of exhaust gas treatment.<\/b> With approximately <b>450 employees<\/b>, we develop, produce and market systems for the reduction of emissions of pollutants and corresponding components.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our company HJS was founded in 1976 from an innovative idea and, even after more than 40 years, <b>enthusiasm for technology<\/b> is still a significant mainspring for our employees who are continuously developing new ideas, processes and products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Caring for persons and the environment<\/b> in this case arises from conviction in our own company. As well as the HJS products, the careful and responsible handling of human and natural resources also plays a central role in our everyday life. The Federal President ret.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>On 26th October 2003 in Osnabrueck, Johannes Rau presented Professor Dr. Claus Mattheck, a German scientist for damage appraisal, and Dipl. Ing. Hermann J. Schulte, owner and managerial company shareholder of HJS Emission Technology, with the German environmental prize 2003 of the German Federal Environmental Foundation [DBU].<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1160\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1160\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1160\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/uwp29-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wpold.hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/uwp29-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wpold.hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/uwp29.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1160\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"s1\">Federal President ret. Johannes Rau, presents the German Environmental Prize 2003.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">With the award of the German Environmental Prize, applications and performances should be honoured which contribute significantly and in an exemplary manner to the protection and conservation of our environment and\/or will contribute to a significant unburdening of the environment in future. Environmental protection, as stressed by the Federal President ret. Johannes Rau, a permanent theme which does and must occupy a fixed place on the agenda of industry and policy. &#8220;For too long we have believed that there is a conflict between ecology and economics. Environmental protection creates workplaces and does not destroy them.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Environmental protection creates perspectives<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As well as the total-corporate performance of Hermann J. Schulte, the DBU appreciated in particular the development of the HJS particle filter for diesel engines. HJS has developed with its employees an innovative diesel particle filter system, which eliminates the discharge of solid pollutant component parts almost completely. Decisive advantages result from the special material properties of the sintered metal and the system structure of the filter. In order to reduce the emission pollution of the environment, every diesel engine should be equipped with a diesel particle filter as quickly as possible. The HJS filter concept offers the best prerequisites for employment with cars and commercial vehicle diesel engines, but also in city buses, municipal vehicles, construction and agricultural machines (among others). <\/span><span class=\"s2\">The SMF<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s2\"> can be used both in the original equipment and in retrofitting, and enables soot-free exhaust gas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>The German Environmental Prize 2003 confirmed HJS in its consistent further development of future-oriented diesel exhaust gas technologies.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=&#8221;Land der Ideen&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1161\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1161\" class=\"wp-image-1161 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/bundespraesident.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"297\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1161\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"s1\">former Federal President Horst K\u00f6hler (Schirmherr): &#8220;Germany &#8211; Country of ideas: This means in my opinion curiosity and experimentation. That means creativity and desire for the new in all life sectors courage without limiting the old.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The initiative <b>&#8220;Germany &#8211; Country of ideas&#8221;<\/b> has distinguished HJS with the development of the efficient diesel particle filter (DPF<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\">) on sintered metal base as a &#8220;Selected Site 2006&#8221;.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> We are very pleased with this acknowledgement!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">With this, HJS numbers among one of the 365 most interesting sites in Germany.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><i>Within the framework of the World Cup 2006, the project &#8220;Germany &#8211; Country of ideas&#8221; was formed.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Initiators<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The initiative is supported by the Federal Government and the economy, represented by the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI) and leading companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Message<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;Germany &#8211; Country of ideas&#8221; stresses the strengths of location Germany and reflects significant characteristics of the Germans: Imaginativeness, creative passion and visionary thinking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=&#8221;MAN Award&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>HJS honoured with the MAN Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1162\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/man-award-234x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wpold.hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/man-award-234x300.jpg 234w, https:\/\/wpold.hjs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/man-award.jpg 709w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 234px) 100vw, 234px\" \/>HJS Emission Technology was awarded the &#8220;MAN Truck &amp; Bus Supplier Award&#8221; in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>HJS Emission Technology was presented with the &#8220;MAN Truck &amp; Bus Supplier Award&#8221; in 2012. This award is presented to companies whose products make a special contribution to the quality and reliability of buses and trucks. This year, MAN Truck &amp; Bus honoured ten suppliers for their outstanding performance.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2006, the HJS Sintered Metal Filter (SMF\u00ae) has been successfully used for Euro V and EEV* buses at MAN Truck &amp; Bus &#8211; innovative and system-specific exhaust gas cleaning technology. The technological advantages of the SMF\u00ae thus demonstrably ensure the ecological &amp; sustainable mobility of MAN vehicles on German and foreign roads. It is planned to use the HJS sintered metal filter for Euro VI MAN city buses in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Bernd Maierhofer, Executive Board Member for R&amp;D and Purchasing at MAN Truck &amp; Bus AG, emphasised at the award ceremony: &#8220;Leading technologies, excellent service and customer orientation make us strong!
